Bert (the owner) is amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and has a true passion for books. He also gave me a discount for no reason and I never even tried nor intended to haggle. This is one of those small family owned operations that is worth going to first before ever trying other bookstores if you are looking for something in particular. My friend bought a book she really planned on taking care of as part of her collection and despite being less than a 10 dollar book he took the time to create a plastic cover to go around her book jacket to prevent future damage.
Although I've only been here a couple of times, I have to say I've been impressed for the few times I've been here! The books are really cheap and they are much better quality than books at other used bookstores! The employees are very sweet and always willing to be of assistance! When I come back in town, I look forward to visiting this store again!
This is a nice place to find some excellent reading material from years ago and from recent publication dates. It is quiet and quaint and the prices are fair.
Hours stated Thurs 12pm- 8pm. Arrived there at 1pm on Thurs . It was closed
Friendly, helpful staff. The house feeling adds extra to bookstores imo. We walked in and checked out the children's section. I even found some movies and video games for sale ha I'll definitely go again. I didn't explore all of the store so I can't review more until my next visit
