I stayed there for 2 months and everything there was great. I disagree with the statement "run by angry old people". They were so good to me. I drove down from Wisconsin in a 1990 RV. Unfortunately one of my rear axles broke from the frame causing the rv to lean sharply towards the left. This happened in Alabama (giant pothole). Not knowing how bad it was, i kept driving. When I pulled in, they saw the "eye sore" but took me in anyway. i recommend the place.
Great amenities! Cheap laundry. Everything is super clean! They even pick up your trash outside your camper if you set it out before 9AM. Only setback is that it is ON THE INTERSTATE. Lots of traffic noise... Too much traffic noise. All hours of the day and night.
I didn't stay here, just scouted for a possible park to move to. They have a convenient location. The spaces are concrete and appeared level. The pool and office looked lovely. The roads were okay, but NARROW. the spaces are super super tight. They look tight in the pictures, it's worse. I do not know how people get their rigs in or out. I would not be able to maneuver my 34' rv in there at all. It looks like they probably built the park spacious in the 70s and just kept compacting based on need. It looked kept up but simply too tight for my liking. I don't remember seeing restrooms.
Totally awesome place to stay.
If you were looking for a great place to stay close to the Space Center in Houston this is the one.
The management and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Good experience here. Stayed 2 nights and they accommodated us for a 3rd night. Sites are rather tight, but manageable. Very nice pool and spa! We were skeptical due to other reviews, but liked it here and would recommend it!
