My husband and I have been very satisfied with the excellent medical treatment that our "feline fur babies" have received here over the last 10 years. Are there cheaper options out there for veterinary services? Absolutely, but in our experience, Dr. Garner and the rest of the Safari staff have never recommended (much less required) us to take action (treatment, shots, etc.) that wasn't in the best interest of our kitties. As for some of the complaints about bad "customer service," all I can say is that we have never seen or experienced that ourselves. The docs and staff have been incredibly helpful, caring, and understanding and their kindness and professionalism when it came time to send our eldest cats (aged 13-17 years, BTW) "over the rainbow bridge" was phenomenal. They have listened to us and cried with us through some tough decisions and that's customer service that goes above and beyond what I experienced with previous vets.

It's unfortunate that I can't bring my dogs here....they require the dog to have an influenza shot in order to get a hair cut??? Our children aren't required to have an influenza shot to attend school! Let alone a haircut. I bring my kids for a haircut, no requirements. Yet the dogs, you must be up to date on bordatella, no dice. Now, they require this influenza shot? Do yourself a favor, google the side affects of giving your dog an influenza shot and then find a different groomer. They're ridiculous. I get it, you want to keep your place clean and healthy, but it's getting ridiculous. Then they slam you with "oh it's $40 dollars, then you come back 2-3 weeks later for the booster, the protect against the second strand...." what's next? An Ebola vaccine?

I would love to give his place five stars, but literally every time we walk in for a grooming we end up having to pay out the wazoo for things that have nothing to do with her grooming. This time it's was a $40 shot that should have been given to her during her exam in April. Then come the next visit they have a list of stuff they are preparing to charge me for that we already did in April. Always getting into your pockets for something.

I've been taking my fur babies to Safari for over ten years now, and they have taken care of them beyond the call of duty! I highly recommend Dr. Gardner and staff always for grooming, checkups and more. Thank you and keep caring for our babies!

Have not been back since last year, but do need to take our snake back for a checkup. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They will take good care of your pets no matter what kind you may have.
